 Sam Waiswa (R) performs with Galaxy Band
ECO Media News Awards nominee, Sam Waiswa, is set to launch his debut album alongside Galaxy Band at the West Green Tavern in Seven Sisters on August 1. The Ani Akubuzabuza singer will launch the 12-track album at a free-to-attend live performance with the backing of London's premier Ugandan band that performs at the same venue every Saturday. He will also be supported by other UK-based Ugandan artists. The album will be available in UK and, eventually, in Uganda.

 Ken Kayongo
This is another ECO Media News exclusive; the new single from Ken Kayongo a.k.a Kenzo. Now based in Atlanta, USA, and Sweden, Ken is one half of the late 1990's hit group Swahili Nation that had hits like Mpenzi and Who is the Man. Bigula is the new single from Ken who is working on a solo album, Gwe Asaanide that also features rappers Da Groit of Jacksonville, Florida and TDP in Sweden.
